Dearly Devoted Dexter - Jeff Lindsay Boy, this is good. This has some disturbing (if you think about it too long) elements but it's a great read. I enjoyed it tremendously.
Darkly Dreaming Dexter - Jeff Lindsay I'm a huge fan of the tv series. This book lived up to the promise, although the series actually added to the story, and in a good way. But the book still holds up great. Going to read the next one soon :-)
Triplanetary (Lensman Series #1) (Vintage Pyramid SF, N2890) - Edward E. ("Doc") Smith I actually need to find a copy with all the pages. The old book I had (from my dad's bookshelf) was missing the ending. I know there's more based on info I found online, but I've read most of the book. No lensmen in it yet.
Operation Chaos - Poul Anderson Read a book I loved many years ago; still enjoyed it!
Jenna Starborn - Sharon Shinn I can see that this isn't for everyone, but it was a fun read for me. It's basically Jane Eyre in space (and in the future). And it truly is Jane Eyre: same plot, bit for bit. Also, the author strove for the same style of writing and manner of dialog. Just the details have been adapted to the new setting (class divisions and morals have not). I thought the adaptation was clever and I didn't mind rereading Jane Eyre again because it's been a while and that's a favorite of mine.
